Project Coordinator

SUMMARY: Support financial services or healthcare projects, ensuring quality at all stages (ideally 1+ years professional research experience)

Project Coordinators work closely with project managers and directors to support the day-to-day activities associated with qualitative and quantitative research. Project Coordinators have visibility into all aspects of the research processes, providing significant opportunity for professional growth. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are paramount in this role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide regular updates to project directors and clients on project progress
  • Create graphs, charts and tables for reports that display relevant data in a visually compelling format
  • Quality control, to include checking numbers and text and formatting in a variety of client deliverables, including proposals, questionnaires, reports, and presentations
  • Test programming logic, text, and respondent experience of online surveys
  • Coordinate focus group and in-depth interview project logistics, including writing screening questionnaires, liaising with focus group facilities, and conducting phone and online recruitment
  • Compile qualitative data to assist with analysis. Code verbatim responses to open-ended questions and pull representative quotes to add value to reports
  • Assist with data collection, including quality control, fielding updates, and incentives processing
  • Work with sample/lists in Excel for the purposes of sending invitations to potential research participants
  • May assist with mail survey processing and data entry
  • May assist with report writing, including writing headlines and findings among sub-groups of the population

SUMMARY: Manage day-to-day activities of financial services or healthcare projects, including data collection oversight (ideally 3+ years professional research experience)

Associates manage the day-to-day activities of research projects from start to finish, including interacting with project leadership, vendors, and clients to perform a variety of tasks to meet internal and external deadlines. This role has visibility into all aspects of the research processes, providing significant opportunity for professional growth. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are paramount in this role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Execute research projects efficiently and according to company standards for quality, including engaging and monitoring internal resources, vendors, and communicating progress to project directors and clients
  • Draft questionnaires/discussion guides, review client feedback, and make appropriate changes
  • Manage data collection, including quality control, fielding updates, and incentives processing
  • Manage data processing, including weighting data and drafting data tabulation plans
  • Analyze data using SPSS, Excel, and data tabulation books

Responsibilities

  • With project/account leadership, work with clients to clarify business issues and design research projects using the optimal qualitative and/or quantitative research techniques for each situation
  • Assist Account Manager and/or Director in handling client communications

Managing Director

SUMMARY: Develop, market, and oversee healthcare and/or employee benefits research projects, including executive level qualitative research (ideally 10+ years professional research experience in or serving employee benefits or health insurance clients)

The Managing Director develops and maintains clients in their practice area of health care or employee benefits, managing and extending relationships with existing key clients, marketing and onboarding new clients, directing projects, and contributing to the company’s thought leadership in your practice area. Managing Directors are also expected to assist in the management of the company, performing key corporate functions and/or overseeing company-wide initiatives. The Managing Director, will build and supervise project teams to fulfill project requirements, may have responsibility for managing a group of research personnel and is expected to have a significant amount of independent client contact.

Thought Leadership, Marketing & Sales

  • Serve as the point of contact for clients for marketing and thought leadership, preparing proposals and budgets for existing and potential clients
  • Identify and pursue marketing and sales opportunities; Set and maintain revenue
    generation goals with supervisor
  • Represent Greenwald and demonstrate its subject matter expertise externally by engaging with clients, managing client groups, and maximizing external speaking and writing opportunities
  • Develop knowledge of clients and their needs. Propose new ideas/directions for research to current and prospective clients
  • Provide consulting services to clients beyond the confines of research project
  • Help train Greenwald staff in project management and your practice area
  • Continuously grow subject matter expertise, by participating in industry groups, keeping up with industry news and events

Research Projects

  • Work with clients to design research projects using the optimal qualitative and/or
    quantitative research methods for each situation and draft proposals accordingly
  • Provide instructions and guidance to all relevant staff responsible for managing the day-today activities of the project, ensuring that quality standards are being upheld
  • Manage project expenses and client invoices and track budget by identifying potential production problems, implementing appropriate corrective action as needed
  • Develop and/or review questionnaires and discussion guides
  • Conduct focus groups and in-depth interviews
  • May perform statistical analysis
  • Develop and review research reports to ensure critical client questions are addressed in a compelling manner, especially in executive summaries

Management
