Caregiving At Work is a multiyear initiative (2026-2027) examining how family caregiving affects workers, employers, and the employee benefits system. It will inform employers on how caregiving affects the workplace, share research on innovative market solutions, and provide a forum to discuss implementation and impact.
Developed by the Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI) and Greenwald Research, Caregiving At Work combines national survey research, employer-focused resources, webinars, and in-person events to help HR and benefits leaders better understand and respond to the growing challenges facing working caregivers.
The initiative will build on Greenwald Research and EBRI’s longstanding collaboration through the Retirement Confidence Survey, the Workplace Wellness Survey, and the Consumer Engagement in Health Care Survey with oversamples of family caregivers who are still employed.
